The listing, *HYACINTH BEAN*50 Seeds*Gorgeous Flowers! has ended.

With Spring right around the corner, I am offering 50 Hyacinth Bean Seeds for the lucky winner!!:) There is enough here to plant down a fence row, or several different places in your yard! Plant a few seeds in each area 1/4 inch deep. DO NOT plant until the Last Killer Frost of SPRING. Also, if you have livestock, DO NOT plant where they can get to the leaves as they may be toxic!

Hummingbirds just love the pretty purple flowers! They will bloom all Summer long, (you may have to give them a drink or two of water once in a while if it is really hot)! The purple pods will turn hard and brown around Fall and you can harvest the seeds for next year's planting.

Can these be planted in the shade? Or dappled lighting?

They need to be planted by something they can climb upon , as they do have runners. They will do okay in partial shade, but not full shade. Or that has been my experience with them. I have planted them in hollowed out tree stumps, by porch posts...etc.,They grow very quickly and spread, so you need a lot of room for them. I am going ti plant some in different places around the farm this Spring and see how they do. Thanks so much for your questions! If you need more info, just ask! :)

I love these ,I grow them every year but have not had the purple ones lately. They are so easy to grow. I have yellow and white ones too.!! Will you have more purple seeds if i dont win these?? My hubbys excited too.!! Shared on FB too.!!!
