All grown as nature intended in my private garden with no added chemicals.Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) – Perennial - Germ: 21 days; Sow: 3/8" deep; Early Spring or late Summer/early Fall; cold stratification; Sun to part shade; Spacing: 12"; Height: 48-72"; Blooms White; from June to August; Cut off the Valerian stalks at ground level with a scythe when ready to harvest. The best time is between August and September, preferably in the second year of growth.
