The listing, Vintage Brother Hand Sewing Machine has ended.

1960's? This is an old hand held sewing machine...made by Brother, before Brother became so well known in US. The motor works, but the needle won't budge...I think it may be frozen gears or worn belt...so may be repairable. Battery operated but also AC.

Comes complete with needles, bobbin, AC adapter box & instructions.

How can I fix the needle?

Hi, the needle fits into a bracket nicely...it just won't go up and down. You can hear the motor working, but the needle does not move...in my experience, that means a gear or a belt is faulty, but I don't have the patience to look into it.

You would have to open the unit to see what is not working or broken...as I said, I really don't want to bother!
