This is a beautiful raspberry sherbet colored strand of beautiful antique Peking Glass Beads! I've looked around and this color seems to be rare! At least the vast majority are green(like jade! ) I've had this forever(I'd say maybe I was 15 when I bought it.) , at the time I had a yellow one , too! But that one was graduated , and I haven't seen it in ages! I was so happy I found this one!! And looking at the online prices it certainly has gained a great deal in value in the forty plus years I've owned them! But as a teen, I could see then , that they stood out from all of the other types of jewelry I'd seen..Once you see Peking Glass , you can spot it on site, The beauty of each bead , is that it's like a person , or snowflake! Each has it's own characteristics! Today machine made jewelry has "No Flaws" but this is what makes Peking Jewelry have such outstanding personality! Little swirls, specks of colors, bubbles under the surface give it such elegance and like nothing else!Single beads sell on other sites , on average for $10 or more each . This one has 25 beads , plus I am fairly sure the chain is sterling silver(You can see it's a beautiful chain running through each beads then separate links connected at a beautifully joined smaller bead which is soldered to a small soldered link . And each of the larger links are also hand soldered.
