Another piece my grandparents collected and polished. The colors in this are such lovely, rich green. Set in a gold tone and black beaded oval setting with a bale...just ready for your necklace, bracelet, purse charm, or??

Can you tell me what is the metal setting? Is it real gold, plated or sterling silver?

I would call it a costume setting. It has no markings etc. however I have had it about 25 years (wow! That was a shock to figure out, lol!) and it has never tarnished, faded etc. It is a gold tone.

It is 'natural', as in my grandparents found it. They were rockhounds for years. I have some pieces that I know are from a river/area local to me...this one is from when they were living/collecting in the USA. I hope that helps?
