FREE: Vintage Salamander Pin

The listing, Vintage Salamander Pin has ended.

Really unusual piece! Gold or gold tone salamander with emerald rhinestone eyes and 11 ruby rhinestones on the back. Marked "CZECHO" on the bottom.

There is a lot of delicate filigree work on the front and back of the piece. It appears that someone added a brass? loop right behind the head to use as a pendant. This should probably be removed.

I don't know how old this is - I would say 1950's or earlier. None of the rhinestones are missing and all still sparkle. Needs a good cleaning. The pin is in working condition.

This is part of my grandmother's jewelry cache that I inherited about 15 years ago. It's been sitting in my jewelry box in the closet since then.

I can't stress how unusual this is!
