I got the controller back in December of 2013 and I only played with it one time but I did not like it that much. The controller is still in new condition and will work with any PS3 system.

Depends on the model and what system it's for. I once had a XBOX 360 controller that I had for 2 years and dropped 50. The controller did not brake once.

Depends on quality and how you take care of your equipment it doesnt matter if you drop it if you litterly have hard surfaces anything plastic can break it happens .....be more careful ps2 controllers were better made but they got cheap on us

There is nothing wrong with it, I've had the controller for three months and used it only two times but I did not like it because it was not as good as the original PS3 controller.
