The listing, Vintage Vera Bradley Handbag (Indigo) has ended.

A gently used, med/small-sized slate blue and white Vera Bradley quilted handbag of retired 1997-1999 design (I think the pattern is called "indigo" from the late 1990s era --HTF -- and the style is the classic handbag from that era). All closures work smoothly. From non-smoking home. A nice bag in good shape.

I'd be happy too! Using a straight ruler (as opposed to measuring tape), the best I can come up with is as follows (all external measurements):

Shoulder strap (from peak to seam where strap attaches to bag): 14 inches

Length: 10.75 "
Width at bottom: 5.5 "
Width at top (appears to taper inward toward top): 5"
Height: 5" at ends; 5.5" at center

Pockets include:

one external pocket, open top, on just one end of the bag

two internal pockets: one zipper-closure pocket, and one open-topped pocket immediately behind the zipper pocket, both about 5" wide, 2.5" deep.

The bag is shaped like a small, squared-off duffel bag with a double shoulder strap. It's what I think was called the "classic handbag" or the "signature handbag" back in the nineties (as far as I can tell; I'm not an expert on Vera Bradley).

Great auction! I have one of these, it is a rare find especially in great condition as yours! It is nice and roomy and can gets lots of things inside. You are correct on the pattern it is Indigo. I love mine and I know your auction will do well!!

From the peak of the strap to the seam where it attaches to the bag, it measures fourteen inches (so it would hang 14" from the top of your shoulder to the top of the bag).
