This auction is for 1 1943 steel penny,during wwii the us mint ran pennys in steel instead of zinc and copper as they needed those materials for the war effort,i have a few of these authentic steel 1943 pennys not the reproductions some coin companies did to comemmorate the coin and the avg person didnt realize it was a reproduction.this coin is in good condition the pics show it pretty good. happy bidding.
