Description

The listing, Asparagus-Jersey Giant has ended.

This is for an un-opened pack of Asparagus roots(jersey giant). Zones 2-9 ( can grow anywhere in full sun. As with any asparagus plant or roots, it takes 2years to grow an edible harvest.
DO not harvest the 1st year and harvesting may continue until June 1 the second year. For each season, when cuttings are over, apply a fertilizer to supply nitrogen for food regrowth of the plants. Water plants well after planting!
This is probably a veggie for experienced gardeners or someone wanting to experiment. You MUST follow directions, or harvest may not occur correctly!

no, they are packed for 12/10, but they are in a seal fresh bag(never opened-came this way) and I have also kept them in a zipper bag in-side my cabinate inside. And the pack they came in has soil and nitrogen mix fertilizer in the bag. I really want to use them, but I'm moving next month and it would disturb the growth and poss. ruin them, so I auctioned them. they are not from my garden, but I have used this product years ago with my mom and they turn out really nice and develope fast if you do everything right. like i said before, their for experienced growers or someone wanting to try it. it's not hard and i'm sending directions for growth and the web has SO much info. Thanks for looking!
