hahaha It makes it very awkward when watching with others during the sychronizations. Doesn't do anything for me, but I'm sure there's plenty of Japanese anime otakus buying up the dvds/blurays because of it. At least it isn't used as a crutch like in ecchi genres.

Neon ally has way fewer shows than crunchyroll though and doesn't crunchyroll also have subbed?

That is true about the catalog of titles. Crunchyroll has both subbed/dubbed albeit only a handful are in English dialog spoken language - as in almost all content is subtitled in English. I also hear there are some neon alley exclusive titles that crunchyroll doesn't have licenses for.
