This sweet member of the onion family has large, tender white stems up to 10 inches tall and 2 inches thick. They have excellent flavor and are great fresh out of the garden in salads and sandwiches. They are also excellent grilled or cooked in roasts, soups and stews, or chopped up in stuffing. American Flag Leeks love the sun and can take the cold. All around excellent onion substitute and very healthy for you.
Unlike most of the other seeds I offer I did not produce these seeds in my garden, I bought way too many packs for the space I ended up with. They are an Heirloom Variety and are not GMO.
