Description

The listing, Amazing Morgan Silver Dollar Auction has ended.

Today I have decided to do a little bit different of a listing. I've seen some of those this or that style auctions and have decided to do one with a bit of a twist.

First the two stars will be a magnificent AU 1901-O Morgan and another AU 1880-S Morgan. So here is how I am going to run the listing. The winner will get to choose the first pick of the coins and that coin will be delivered as always FREE. Then I will probably put up the other coin in a separate auction or decide to put the remaining coin up against another of my Morgans. Sort of like a battle royal.....

The 1901 is in amazing condition (in my opinion as I do NOT grade coins) it could be called MS but I don't know for sure. It was struck in New Orleans which was known for having trouble with their dies and producing weak struck coins which makes their great coins that much more desirable. I love both of the coins because both of them have full detail and amazing shine, you can see every eagle feather and strand of hair.

The second coin was struck in 1880 out of San Francisco and for being over 130 years old looks as good as most of the coins struck today.

All listia rules apply and I ship to verified addresses only. Shipping is always FREE and I try to get it out as fast as possible. Please feel free to ask any and all questions and I welcome feedback and comments. If you fan me please let me know so I can return the favor.

Oh the twist.....I've decided that maybe someone cannot live with just one of the two so I'm going to have a GIN. If you decide to use it you will get both coins as well as not one but two Peace Dollars from my collection. I'll have pictures of them up soon as I have to go get my box tomorrow.

So to sum it up the winner without the GIN gets a choice of the two Morgans and if the winner uses the GIN they will get:

2 AU-MS MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR BILLS
AND
2 PEACE DOLLARS (all pictures can be seen above)

Please let me know if you have any feedback or questions.

The 1901-O in its shape is probably worth between 70-120 by itself according to estimates. MS quality go for over 200.00

estimates and grading and so what dont mean anything until you pay for it to be graded....until its graded its only worth the core value that collectors pay in my opinion which for these coins are about 30-35$ each......i totally understand what you are saying and these are def in GREAT SHAPE...didnt mean to insult u in any way was just throwing an offer out there u know? its almost all i have at the moment thats not pending....its an amazing lot my friend

No worries I wasn't trying to sound offended I actually thought about sending it in to be graded after taking it to a pcgs dealer in my city who wanted to buy it but I had already decided to put it up here for others to enjoy. Morgans in my opinion are only getting more and more valuable but that's how I feel. I appreciate the offer but even at 35 a coin and credits being about 1.5 to a dollar in value if you look at gift card auctions 70 plus 40 would be 110$ low estimate on the four coins wich would put it at 150 or so credit wise but I don't know if anyone would take the gin if not they can choose the Morgan of their choice (sort of why I set up the auction the way I did). I appreciate the feedback though

Maybe, maybe not at this point it's a guessing game lol. I'm on here to give my collection to people who will treasure them like I did for many years. I've still got a lot of silver to go yet so it doesn't matter to me if it goes tonight or Sunday. Hopefully it goes to a good home
