I grew up in long beach & remember these being ALL OVER the place!! I'm not sure how well it would thrive here in WA, but its worth a shot LoL...

I will most definitely send more than one piece to anyone who uses my GIN!

Just make sure to keep one inside so that way you can use it to repopulate any outside that may not make it. That way you'll never run out again. They should do just fine inside, anywhere!
