The listing, Vintage King toy cap gun has ended.
Vintage King toy cap gun
This was appraised as a Rare model at a local antique shop today (3/10/14) and ranging in a price of $80-$120 depending on the condition. It is in fair condition so it should be worth $100. This is not set in stone pricing, just what I was told. Could be a little less or a heck of a lot more.

Questions & Comments
can you please put up a picture of the appraisal.would really appreciate seeing it.thank you.
if they charged you a fee for their appraisal, they absolutely should have given you a certificatestating their professional opinion of the item.if it was an informal appraisal the store should still be able to give you something as to their opinion of the gun.as you said this adds to the value of the gun.i'm an antique dealer in virginia and we're not allowed to furnish an opinion unless we have a license to do so.maybe its different in texas.but, you bet i'd go back and get something.and if they don't want to do that ask where thay got the value from.what antiques price guide for ex.
please let me know how you make out.just like anything else, there are good antique dealers and not good dealers.i hope the place you went is one of the good ones.
i'm sorry that happened to you.it is what i expected though.people run off at the mouth and then when you ask them to put it in writting they back right down.try going on ebay, etsy or amazon and look up toy cap guns.also goggle the maker of the gun you should be able to find info that way.then you can put the site up here instead of running around trying to get a written appraisal.
I do this all on my phone, I do not have home internet which is why I took it to be appraised. I googled it and searched for a few hours I couldn't find another like it anywhere.
okay there we go.any antique dealer will only offer you bottom dollar ,so you can figure that the gun would have been sold by them forapprox.100.00.that should that should help.anyone that knows a dealer can tell you how cheap we are:)good luck-it's a really nice piece.
