The coin you have for sale is an Eisenhower Dollar not a Liberty dollar. It was only minted from 1971 to 1978 so it is the shortest minted coin. so you all bid and bid high. Fanned ya please fan back.

Thank you Brian. You are right, I accidentally named and listed it, as I was looking at it, and typed 'Liberty' as is seen on the obverse, not even realizing my mistake.

Please let me apologize to all the bidders on this coin. Brian is right, this is not a 'Liberty' One Dollar coin, but is in fact, an Eisenhower Dollar.

Here is the basic info on this coin:

The Eisenhower Dollar is a $1 coin issued by the United States government from 1971–1978 (not to be confused with the Eisenhower commemorative dollar of 1990, or the Presidential $1 Coin Program, which will feature Eisenhower in 2015). The Eisenhower Dollar followed the Peace Dollar and is named for General of the Army and President Dwight David Eisenhower, who appears on the obverse. Eisenhower Dollars were struck to commemorate Dwight D. Eisenhower, who died in 1969, and the Apollo 11 moon landing of the same year. It was minted for only an eight-year period (inclusive). Although once considered a marginal set to collect, Eisenhower dollars have significantly gained in popularity with collectors in recent years.

Again I apologize for incorrectly naming the coin and for any problems this may have caused any of my bidders.

Bidders!! Please be aware of what you are actually bidding on, by reading the comments here. Again, this is not a 'Liberty' dollar, but is in fact, an 'Eisenhower Dollar'... and thank you all for bidding!
