The listing, RARE ANTIQUE ITEM FROM LATE 1800's!! Rectal Medicone-HC!! (Medicone is not a mispelling) =) has ended.

LISTIA VERIFIED BIDDERS ONLY!! =)

This is way old, and the research I found says it was used during the late 1800's!
Initially, I thought, Medicone was a type-o, but it repeats several more times on the outer packaging!
It was an Anesthetics Hemorrhoidal Suppositories with Hydrocortisone, and only available by prescription!
THIS IS NOT FOR USE AND IS FOR DECORATION ONLY!!!

Thank you for having a look, please take a gander at my other items up for auction, have fun bidding!

Thank you. It is the information I got from researching the item, so that is why I stated it. I try very, very, very hard not to misrepresent any of my items. If you know more about this than I do, your input is welcomed. =)

June, I like old products. Suppositories have been used since 1850's. But hydrocortisone was not invented until the 1920's in Germany. This is old, but not not before the 1920"s. I also wonder when the Title 21 for the Federal Medicine Caution Act (on labels)came into effect -afraid it was after the 1950's??? Still makes it interesting to own.

Ladyhawkred, thank you for your helpful input! =) Obviously I looked at a different art iCal or misunderstood. My apologies to everyone for any inconvenience this may have caused. It is not my intent to ever misrepresent any of my items, and I will be more cautious when I research something! =)

Awww, thank you for that nice compliment! I didn't even think of that, so perhaps the winner would donate it to a medical museum!
