There are rings done in sterling with diamonds, but it would of been a special request. If you go in to a store and just want to buy a sterling ring with a diamond, they do not have any made that way. They usually only set diamonds in gold and white gold and platinum settings, everything else would have a CZ in it or some kind of man made gem to resemble a diamond. :) I just don't want anyone to think they are getting a real diamond when generally they are not real if set in sterling. It bothers me that she is not responding to anyone's questions...I'm just trying to be helpful so someone is not really disappointed with their winning something that is really not what it is made out to be. I could be wrong, but I've worked in jewelry for over 15 years and just trying to be helpful seeing as though the seller is not. :)

Since I have worked as a diamond consultant in the past....I can tell you that they do not set real diamonds in sterling silver. If it is in fact real sterling, then it will not be a real diamond. Just a lil info for all of you wondering... :) It's just my opinion, but the lack of communication from the seller says it all for me...

I make jewelry and I prefer silver as do may of my clients. Silver i. gorgeous and affordable. The gold settings are 4 or more time the price as silver so those who wish to have a sparkly diamond ring at fraction of the cost go for silver .
