This is a thermometer for deep fat frying,making candy and icing.
NOT for use in the oven.
This was mailed to my mother-in-law in
Gonvick, MN on April 27,1954
So that makes it at least 60 years old.
It comes in a heavy cardboard tube.
Because of it's size, I am charging $3.00
