Not purple nor pink but between. This is a Bobbie Brooks 1X. The sleeves can be long or they have a button and eye hook to roll these up some.

Is this true to size, it looks big. Just wondering if it would fit someone that wears a 3X normally?

FLAT this is 23" across under the sleeves and 25-26" at the hem. That is a call I will not make because I like happy campers and I have no idea. Hope this helps and thanks for asking. Neck to hem is 29".
