METALLIC GOLD SHOES DO HAVE SOME LIGHT to MODERATE SIGNS OF WEAR as METALLIC will mark a little and in some light may be able for you to see barely--no one else will ever notice. These shoes photographed with a sort of darkish area in the top near toe----That is not there in real life! All is well with the uppers in that area. There are some natural creases from a foot walking of course like most shoes which are pre-worn--and these are canvas after all.Padded clean innersoles, and arch support. Comfy--and really look so cute and uplifting. Nothing can get you down where you wake up in the morning and put these on. It's going to be sunshine in your heart all day long

These are a true 8 Medium (my size) and you could be a NEAR 8 1/2 and they will still be fine! Terrific, clean, cute "happy shoes"! Thanks for your questions.If you are Med. width, they should not be 'tight" but we all know eveyone's foot is not the same--These are lace up, so you can adjust the width there too to a certain extent. I think they are really comfortable---If you have been barefoot on the desert, like me, for decades--and they are my size and I still can say "comfortable" you are pretty safe!!! I even have severe arthritis "knots" on my right foot--and yep---comfy for me. No one can assure another person the shoe will fit another persons foot because there are differences from one to another in the actual foot structure--like height of arch, the variety shapes and positions of the toes,etc and the way we all walk, and shift the weight of the wearer--etc.etc So I have done my best to describe--but the ultimate decision is yours.
