The listing, Old Straight Razor has ended.

Up for Auction is an old straight razor, the handle has a lot of nicks in it, also there is some rust on the "SHARP" Blade! On the one side of the blade near the handle it appears to have a light house in a circle, on the other side by the handle I think it says 77 John S. Holler & Co, under that it says Celebrated Razor, this thing is sharp! Happy Bidding!

How's the blade look ? Any pitting on the sides and is the cutting edge chipped anywhere ? It's a great restoration piece if the metal isn't messed up . John s holler razors were only made between 1867 - 1906 and judging by the short stub it's pre 1900 .

I don't see any pitting on the blade just a little rust, no chips. The handle is a little pitted though.
