The listing, Gently Used Nine & Co Hobo HandBag Purse Excellent Condition has ended.

Gorgeous, cute, never used. It's in like-new condition. I've listed it as used just because it has no tags and has been stored so long.

The purse appears to be made of imitation black leather (feels leather-like but looks more like vinyl) for the base on the bottom, the trim, the zipper housings,and the handle, and then made of a brightly colored, thinly striped canvas for the body of the purse. The metal rings and buttons appear to be stainless steel (are silver in color).

Lining: the purse is fully lined with a tan/beige cotton blend.

Pockets: There is one exterior zip-closure pocket on the outside, one small zip pocket on the inside, and two small open-top pockets inside as well.

You can see the purse's over all dimensions best in the photo (note pictures with tape measure), but I'd say it's a medium-sized bag with a very short strap.

Just so you know, I'm new to Listia, but I do abide by Listia's rules and guidelines. What you see in the pictures of my auctions is what you're bidding on (I don't use stock photos). I package carefully and ship quickly via USPS with delivery confirmation. I endeavor to make every step of my transactions smooth, professional, friendly, and enjoyable for all involved.

Thank you! I'm still trying to get the hang of it. I'm just writing the descriptions with the info I think I'd like to have available if I were the one bidding. I'm amazed at how varied descriptions are in the listings (was trying to learn from what I saw, but then just decided to put what I thought people would want to see).

Oh, indeed! We have Elsie, Tuc, Pinot, Kenya, and Chessie (our Labs) and Merlin (our recent additon -- a 6 mos bulldog/pug mix -- my mid-life crisis lap dog!). :) And it looks like we might have two of our pups (now six years old) from one of our litters coming back to us next month. One of their owners died, and the other can't afford the dogs on her own. When we were breeding (we don't anymore), we made sure the forever families knew we were committed to our litters for life, and if they needed to return their pups, they could any time (for life). :) So we have two come back from a litter 6 years ago. That will make 8 dogs at our house (7 Labs and Merlin). LOL.... the more the merrier! Enjoy your menagerie! Sounds fun!

I love the colors of your purse! I'm going to keep bidding for as long as I can. :-) Like you, I'm new to Listia. The only auction I've won never went through. The seller wanted $5.00 for shipping, but never sent me an invoice, or contacted me on a payment process. When I auctioned one of my items, I did free shipping so I wouldn't have to figure out how to bill for shipping. Just seemed easier that way. lol

Welcome! (from one newbie to another). After reading the Listia guidelines and FAQ and tips and such, I decided that, by far, the easiest way (for me) to do this was to only do free shipping on both sides of the auction process (only bid on auctions that have free shipping, and only list auctions with free shipping). It seems it would even out that way (between what I spend to ship and what I save by getting things with no shipping). AND I'd avoid the potential scammers (who charge shipping to make money), and it would be less hassle all the way around.

So far, I haven't had any glitches. I hope it stays that way!

I've liked this brand, too. :) Believe it or not, it's snowy in PA, too (we've had quite a winter here). The current pup in my profile pic is Baxter, a black Lab (once ours, but has been my daughter's and her family's for the past six years since they moved away). He's 10 yo , and just had an undiagnosed tumor rupture on his spleen (they thought they were losing him earlier this week). But he's doing wonderfully now! :) I have five other Labs (Elise and Pinot, yellow; Tuc and Kenya, black, and Chessie, chocolate) and one little mutt named Merlin (because he case his little spell on me and made me bring him home, though he's not a Lab!). Merlin is six months old. :) We call him my mid-life crisis lap dog). :)
