Is this a 1976 circulated or uncirculated type 1 or 2? Looking it up I'm only finding Eisenhower bicentennial dollar coins listed from 1971-1978.

This appears to be a Denver minted type 2. Judging by the tail on the second leg of the "R" in "Dollar", this was minted for 1976.

Yes this is a Denver minted. And if by type 2 you mean the moon with the liberty bell then yes it's a type 2. And none with the moon and liberty bell was made in 1975 that's why it have 1976 on it cuz they was only made in 1976 only. The ones with the Liberty Bell and moon on them are uncirculated.

by Type 2 I mean the 1976. type one was made in 1975. The tail on the "R" is how I tell them apart. bicentennials were made 2 years.

Yes I know they were made for 2 years. 1975 had that eagle on it type 1. 1976 moon with Liberty Bell type 2.

Are you referring to the silver coins being type 1 and the nickel coins being type 2 cuz I'm all lost cuz I had no sleep last night I was up playing computer games all night.

They made almost identical bicentennial coins two years in a row. There are ways of telling them apart by the lettering, but they both have the moon and bell.
