Description

The listing, Hollyhock Seeds*Gorgeous Deep Red*30-60 Seeds GIN! has ended.

Wow! These will get attention and make all your neighbors envious! This is a new color for me this year, love it!

Up to 8' tall spikes of beautiful rich deep Red flowers will add color to your garden or yard. They bloomed first year, and bloomed at the top until Sept. 8 last year.

Easy to grow, plant now for blooms next year!
Zones 3-9
Our most popular flower seeds
Plant in the spring or fall and cover with leaves, straw, grass clippings, or mulch in cold areas.
Perfect along a fence, house, garage, or retaining wall.
Seem to be slightly drought tollerant, I do not water them very often.
Usually do not need staking unless there are very strong winds. A customer asked about a trellis. It would be great behind them, but not a necessity at all.

Hollyhocks are fairly short~lived, I have heard around 3 years, so be sure to scatter some seeds every year to make sure they never stop. They will also drop some seeds naturally.

The flowers and leaves are edible, to decorate cakes, add to salads, etc. We never use chemicals in our gardens.

The lucky winner will receive 30 fresh seeds from 2013 plants.
*If the auction goes over 1,000 credits you will receive 40 seeds.
**If GIN is used you will get 60 seeds.
