These are what they call SPLIT LEAF??? I know them holes don't show up until later--at least I THINK that is right?? Thanks (Fanned ya- # 480 and W!!)

No. Split leaf philodendron are different. These are Swiss cheese philodendron. When the leaves open they already have the holes. I hope that helps you. Fb.
