The listing, AMAZING 1891 Kingdom of Hawaii 2¢ Postage Stamp - Queen Liliuokalani, the Last Queen of the Islands has ended.

Probably one of my best stamp auctions, and one for the history buff and the stamp collector alike, this stamp from the end of the 19th Century features Queen Liliuokalani, the last monarch of the Kingdom of Hawaii. The queen was overthrown by American plantation interests and descendants of missionaries just two years after this stamp was issued. This is a very rarely seen piece of postal history and in very good condition: lightly used, well-centered and nice color (Scott catalog #52, dull violet). Good luck!
