A very pretty romaine with striking maroon splotches.

Heat tolerant and delicious flavor. Will grow back after taking salad cuttings at the base!!

I use only organic compost and fertilizers. NO chemicals or pesticides ever used in my garden!

could these be grown in containers you think?

Yes, I am sure it would do fine in containers. Especially with regular feedings (like a good liquid organic fertilizer that you dilute in water). If your weather in AZ is hot and dry, you may want to set up your container so that you can cover it with shade cloth during peak times for the day, so that your lettuce wont bolt. I love this lettuce because single leaves can be harvested as it continues to grow!!
