Hi Meg, It does stretch, and i think with a spanx a sz 12 lady could wear it. I think Marilyn Monroe was a sz 14, but she wouldn't have been able to wear this just because she was so busty. I wouldn't feel comfortable saying yes that it would work with sz 14 because we're all shaped so differently. But it might work on a slim, fit 14. Thanks for inquiring. :-)
