The listing, BLUE GLASS INSULATOR has ended.

I am offer a blue glass insulator. This insulator was found next to our railroad tracks of the Southern Michigan Railroad, The Southern Michigan Line was the second oldest line in the State of Michigan. I am not sure how old this is, but I do know that it is free of cracks or any breakage. The bottom of the glass says Hemingray

Where I used to live in Massachusetts, we dug these up as kids! Some are quite valuable! I wish I knew more about them and had kept them all! I still have 2 left I think. One was a gift to me when a friend's husb died (lol! He had a funny sense of humor!!) he and she packed up these cute little bags , with mementos of his life, his poems , his writing, things he found digging his garden in the yard over the yrs.Insulators were in the bags!! haha!! He was well into his 90's when he died, and I told my mother, she's in her 90's now, she said "What a great idea!!! " I think she was wishing we'd saved a bunch , too! They are heavy and make great paperweights!! Is there a number or anything else on this?

It's possibly a CD 141 made for bout 1921 through 1960's

The ones with very long points are called "Fangs" and the round part at the bottom is called
the Skirt"
