Questions & Comments
It's not a fake coin it's just not a key date, the coin is graded which would save you the 35-40 bucks to send in a loose coin but do you know which die this is from? The reverse is too hard to tell. The mint had two dies made one with 7 tail feathers and another with 8. Overall a nice coin to add to any collection but was the second highest minted date available in the Morgan collection but if you want to start collecting coins you might as well start with the first year. F&W
I can stop all the concern if you look at the third picture up close there are a set of numbers! Right them down go to the website of the grading company and look for cert verification enter the numbers! It will give you the information on this exact coin! It's a graded coin it will be in the system! Problem solved! Instead of attacking this guy about it being fake! Your doing fine on this MORGAN DOLLAR auction! There is always someone downing new people on listia just blow them off or better yet block Em!! Just my informed opinion!
And Brookstone a very reputable store? http://www.brookstone.com/1878s-first-year-of-issue-morgan-silver-dollar http://www.americancointreasures.com/1878S_Morgan_Silver_Dollar_in_Extra_Fine_Condition_p/12194.htm
Also it is sealed in the graded case by AACGS grading company, so if it is actually fake then it would have been done by the grading company? Highly unlikely...
