Description

The listing, SO COOL! **~GOT 2 C~** COIN CADDY has ended.

This is a very odd, but interesting way to keep your coins. It's called a Coin Caddy and has slots for US quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies. As you slide in another coin, the spring below lowers to make room for the coin being introduced. Then the spring holds it firmly in place, when you release the coin into the proper slot. Free shipping! Please take a look at my other auctions, they vary.

How much change does it hold

Excellent question, but will probably be a confusing answer.....but I'll try to make sense. It can hold quarters in two slots up to eight each slot, it can hold up to eight dimes in a possible two slots, but one of those same slots can hold pennies also and that would be up to eight pennies. In another slot (one slot) it can hold up to 7 nickels. So, two of the slots are able to be used for more than one selection of coin, but when using the multi-purpose(for lack of a better word) slots, the coin chosen to be used must all be the same in the slot or they do not sit atop one another as securely. This does hold them very safe and coins DO NOT fall out, but it is very simple to use. They slide in one on top of another and slide right back out. Kind of like loading a magazine, if you've ever had opportunity to do that. OK, did that explanation make ANY sense at all?
Final answer, I guess would be it can hold various amounts.... Thank you for the inquiry, I hope I was able to give you an accurate yet clear response. =0)

Does not look old, is there a name on it? Made in USA?

No, it is not old. It's made by Coinboy Accessories Select, Inc. Texas, USA patent pending. Made in Brazil. I bought 5 of them about 4 years ago at a hospital gift shop. I have this red one and 2 more still in my possession. I use one regularly, in the console of my car...... pay tolls, quick sodas, etc. Thanks for your questions.
