The film features characters and items from some of Tim Burton's previous films, including Vincent, BeetleJuice, and Batman Returns.

Special Edition is digitally mastered and preserves the original widescreen 1.66:1 aspect ratio seen in theaters. Includes a Behind-the-Scenes look at the making of the film; the original theatrical trailer; Tim Burton's 1982 directorial debut, Vincent (a 6-minute B&W stop-motion film narrated by Vincent Price); and Burton's 1984 live-action debut, Frankenweenie (a 29-minute B&W Frankenstein homage/parody starring Barret Oliver, Shelley Duvall, Daniel Stern, Paul Bartel, Jason Hervey, & Sofia Coppola). Burton is currently preparing a full-length stop-motion remake of Frankenweenie for Walt Disney theatrical release.

Tape itself is in great shape but the plastic clamshell box is getting rough around the edges.
