Earrings are made from a lightweight, silver colorered metal. They are shiny but not polished, and are just a little thinner than a quarter. On the back both earrings have a stamp of letters or image inside an oval but it is too tiny to read even with magnifying glass (and 20/20 vision :-) ) Neither earring lays perfectly flat and their imperfections make me think they are handmade but that is just a guess. I found these at a thriftstore so there is a good chance they have been previously worn.
