This is an unusual and attractive flower that is appropriately named for its five royal purple dots that rest on the end of its pure white petals. Requires cool, moist soil that is not rich in nutrients. When planting in warmer climates this flower needs heavy shade so that it does not die, it has a low tolerance for high temperatures. It can handle light, but not direct sunlight and would do well if planted on the north side of a building. This flower works well when potted outside and makes a hanging basket stand out.
