The listing, RARE HAWAIIAN PAPAYA seeds straight from Hawaii has ended.

Straight from Obama's home state of Kenya (oops sorry I meant to say Hawaii).

I bought a few packs of these on my way out at the ABC Store on the Big Island. These seeds can be planted INDOORS in pots and they will grow! We have one that is now about 2' tall in a pot. It comes inside in the winter and goes back out in the summer.

Great question - 10 years ago I know that Hawaii had a big problem with GM plants being sold as organic but it reached epic proportions especially with Japan and the gov stepped in and stopped it. These seeds are about a year old and the red stamp on it is a State of Hawaii Dept of Agriculture Certificate of Inspection. So I am assuming that they are not.
