The listing, Elegant Black Halter-style Cocktail Dress has ended.

I purchased this at my favorite consignment shop, so it's probably a re-run, but I can't tell that it's ever been worn, other than the fact that it has no tags. I'm sorry the pictures are so bad, it doesn't hang well when I tried to hang it on the back of the door and take a picture, so I did the best I could standing on the bed - would help if my bedspread wasn't black and white huh? ;O) Sorry! It's gorgeous though - it just isn't my size. I bought it when I was in 14's, but never had the opportunity to wear it, and now I'm down to 10's with no special occasions in the near future, so I thought I should let someone else enjoy it.
Here are the details:
Size - 14
Style - halter
Length - mid-calf
Material - 100% polyester
Care & Cleaning - machine washable!
Brand - B SMART
1st picture - front
2nd - back
3rd - care instructions
4th - size and material

This dress has some light boning on the sides (think - smooth out those love handles!) and a couple of ties on each side to tie in the back. It has a nice flare to the skirt and would like great dancing.

It has some dryer lint collected on the strap at the moment from hanging in my close/laundry room for the last year or so, and we are smokers, but I will wash it fresh for you before it goes out.

It just occurred to me that this would make a nice graduation or understated prom dress too - so happy bidding everyone!

Never thought about it that way, but you could put some fingerless elbow length gloves and some heavy accessories with and be one glam goth chick ;)

I really am not sure, I can take some closer pictures of the seams and see if it will let me add them with the edit feature this evening and let you decide for yourself. I would hate to say yes and be wrong, and I know absolutely nothing about being a seamstress ;o)

all I have is a regular tape measure - like for construction lol - I will do my best though if I can get my sister in law to come help me - maybe tomorrow I can pick up a sewing tape measure and get better ones I just don't think the metal kind is gonna work very well =P

OK - found a clothing tape thingie. I measured the bust (the number portion of your bra size is what I'm calling the bust - just thought I'd throw that out there in case that's not right, I am so not a seamstress LOL) and the length from bust to hem
Bust - 34
Length - 36
It has some give around the bust area but I didn't want to tug it out of shape with my fingers.

If you lay the garment down flat and measure across the front, then double that measurement, it should be fairly accurate, even if you are using a metal tape measure.
