I wish I could see it well enough to tell you the size, it is very old, the aged coloring and the tiny writing makes it difficult to read. I can tell you that it is so small that yarn could not be used its too thick, you would have to use embroidery thread at its smallest size. I am so sorry that I can't do any better than that in trying to help you, I know my grandmother would use this to make baby items and doilies. wish i could do more, sorry

Hi, I enlarged my screen .. Looks like Steel hook # 8. Used for intricate doily work for sure. Great Auction!

AWESOME ! I'm glad you could do that, that helps a lot. I know my grandmother was always crocheting after all of her "work" was done. I hae some gorgeous doilies, linen tablecloths with tatted edges, pillow cases with tatted edges, she was always busy with her hands. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING THIS UP I APPRECIATE YOUR TENACITY !
