I wouldn't say so. They fit me fine, and I am an 8. I have a bad ankle, and the high sides bothered me.....that's why I am selling them. Worn just once.

Sorry for the delay in commenting: The removable sole insert has a good arch support, but I wouldn't say it is a "high arch". There are several kinds of innersoles on the market, you can switch out the innersoles, as they can be removed as shown in the pictures. Thanks for asking.
