These peppers are a cross between Anaheim and Ancho peppers. They have great flavor and a medium heat concentrated in the ribs, with Hot seeds. I bred this variety myself and have been growing them for several years. If left to fully ripen to a deep red color, the flesh gets really sweet for a sweet hot treat. They are great stuffed with cheese and excellent grilled. These seeds were organically grown in my back yard during the 2013 season.

They are a nice blend. The walls are fairly sweet and the ribs are medium hot. The seeds and the fleshy part holding them are the hottest part, so it all depends on how much and what parts of the pepper you use. These seem to get milder and sweeter the riper they get. So for a little more bite, you can harvest them early in their green stage and for milder, sweeter overall you can let them fully ripen to a deep red. I prefer them about half ripe.
