First it works perfect, Second I don't see this as a straighter, doesn't work on coarse hair. Its more of a curling iron flat iron, you can make curls if you know how. Its not for straightening thick or coarse hair.

My hair is fairly thick and this straightener has worked for me(my picture). It can get really hot but not extreme. I still use it!!! :) nice auction!

Thanks :) its ok, but I need extreme heat on my hair, its good for curls on like medium texture hair.
