Okay. I listed a website of vintage coca cola trays and they have one exactly like this I mean exactly and they are selling as original , but I'm not an expert so I can't swear one way or the other.
Love the tray and love cocacola but i dont like know it alls and there is alot on listia ....nothing against u ......robinjones....u can only tell what u know ....thank u
Coca-Cola reproduced many of their trays. If they were issued by coke, they will have a black back and markings on the rim. Reproductions will actually state that they are repros with a date. Original trays did not have that information. If your trays have a gold back, they were more than likely made in China. Beautiful tray! Fanned and Watching!
LOVE<LOVE this and your GIN is fantastic! I wish I had a ton of credits-I have a coca-cola room in my house and they would look great in there! Thanks for this nice auction!
Please check the last 2 pictures. Under all four of the coca cola is REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. I AHVE CLEARLY STATED THAT I DONT KNOW FOR SURE. I WAS TOLD IT WAS AUTHENTIC AND THE RESEARCH I HAVE DONE LEANS TOWARDS THAT. I do appreciate the input but I don't others bidders to think I am trying to pass this off as authentic when it's not. But I also don't want the bids to be lower because people think it's a repro. If it's not. I did list the website that I have gotten info off so bidders can check for themselves. I can say this is not made from a cheap or metal. The colors are right for an authentic tray and the back is black which all indicate an original authentic tray.
I have to agree with Itdowney, it is a reproduction. It is missing the vintage or antique markings. I am from a long time family generation of Coca Cola employees and fans. I am also an antique dealer here in Florida.
I checked on a website that specializes in antique trays and according the I Their information no all antique trays were dated. Original trays usually have information such as the date, the manufacturer, place where it was produced, and “Made in USA”. Not every tray has every piece of information so again, you need to get out there and learn what these trays really look like up-close.
that looks vintage, it looks amazing, the colors are still bold and the featured girl is beautiful, makes me wish I had Cold Coca-Cola right NOW!!! Lovely , thanks for sharing, watching this!
