HI i have a metallic blue/green 3DS system I bought it 2 years ado at game stop pre-owned it showing an error message on it and does not work being offered as is I contacted Nintendo and they said the cost to fix it was 80$ please ask any questions no refunds on item has a charger also

Ok look like you need to turn it off/on keep on do that if the 3ds not working

Then Maybe it a new battery Amazon have them for 3.99 to 9.99 free shipping

or maybe it need a new Mather bard Ebay have them for 59 to 99
