This is a gorgeous Vallerysthal Portieux (I believe) very old(vintage or Antique , not sure which) Milk glass compote . A beautiful choice for any collection!! It is a gorgeous shade of white(sort of an off white, not custard but almost a celadon, slightly greenish tint to it.) I found no scratches or damage of any kind. If you have questions , please do ask! You must be Listia verified to bid. If you cannot pay shipping please, do not bid! (This is a relist from someone who couldn't pay the shipping ). I think I can take Paypal , but I am not 100% sure. All I can do is try is you really have to! Prefered shipping should be paid in the form of concealed cash(put tracking on it if you are concerned for an extra 90 cents , I'd done over 170 auctions, and only one didn't arrive. my guess is, the cust. never actually sent it, but I don't know for sure) . Sorry , the Shipping is high, but I do an extensive packing job, to be sure you'll get this safely, and it requires a fairly big box , bubble pak , my time ,gas, ect. (In fact I usually end up paying more than the shipping I quote in the vast majority of cases, something I really cannot afford to do.But I am offering it at a reasonable credit price , though it may seem high (especially if you are new to Listia), but look around , I don't think you'll find one like this anywhere else for under $50 !! Most go for more!! You , on the other hand can get it here for free!! Using only your credits , and money only for shipping! Where else can you do that and get such a gorgeous piece? If the bidding reaches 50000 , I will add in a milkglass egg dish (also white) I'll be adding pics shortly) If bidding goes to 100,000 or more I'll add the egg dish & A gorgeous covered fish dish!! (Pics coming!) , the higher it goes, the more antique glass I will add!! I am coming up to my 200th auction soon! So , why not start the celebration right now? Who knows what else I might add (any requests?)
