*10 Green Hubbard Squash Seeds aka Chicago warted Hubbard

*heirloom seeds

**make sure you have a large amount of space to grow these....The vines grow like pumpkins and twirl and attach to any other nearby vegetation. I wasn't aware they grew like this and planted them in my garden only to have them take over the entire garden!!

**These get to be around 13 pounds and have a sweet orange fine textured flesh. I baked mine with some maple syrup...Yummy! !

F&w I AM a big squash and being in the south I like to plant lots of unique ( the peanut pumpkin for instance) but I was wondering to replant do I save the seeds from the squash? Tia

Hi, fanned you back. Yes to replant just make sure you save the seeds. I let one of my Hubbards get huge and let the stem turn brown before I picked it then I scooped the seeds, cleaned them and froze them.

Another way to cook them is to largly dice any squash, even a few varities, dice sweet potatoes, mix a little olive oil, orange marmalade and honey. Pour it over squash and roast in the oven until tender. Yum!

That sounds delicious! I was the only one that ate it when I fixed the hubbard. My husband and kids don't care for the taste of winter squash.
