Sweet little Tudor rose brooch I had commissioned a few years ago, and ended up with three.... So, some of them have to go! It's about 2 1/2" in diameter, with multiple layers and gold seed beads at the center.The Tudor Rose is a traditional heraldic emblem for England, and specifically starting with Henry VII of the House of Tudor after the War of the Roses in the 15th century. (The Tudor dynasty in England also included Henry VIII and Elizabeth I, two of the most famous British monarchs.) History and handmade! Honestly, probably two of my most favorite things.
