Description

The listing, 20+Hardy Jersey Wakefield Cabbage seeds has ended.

These Jersey Wakefield cabbage seeds will grow nice, uniquely shaped 2-5 pound cabbages. This variety is very flavorful and is considered by many to be the most delicious cabbage!
For the past 3 years I have made my Great-Grannie's DElish Chow-Chow relish. It's terrific on Pinto & great northern white beans. My husband uses it as a salad dressing bcz he is diabetic and I made him some w/ Splenda. It's like a sweet & CRUNCHY and HEALTHY Vinagrette. We've used it to make amazing chicken salad, deviled eggs, put it as a relish on a hot dog or hamburger or whipped up with mayonnaise for a homemade tartar sauce for fried fish or any kind :D We like catfish!!

Start seeds indoors in seed trays NOW.....Cover seeds with 1/8 inch fine soil and keep moist with lots of sunlight or grow lights. Indoors in 70 F temperatures, seeds take about 10 days to germinate. Transplant seedlings to pots until they are 6-10" high. Once plants are established, harden off and transplant outdoors after danger of severe frost has passed in mid-spring. Space rows 2 to 3 feet apart depending on space available. Space plants 18 to 24 inches apart in the rows. Approximately 70 days to maturity. These can also be grown well into the winter months until first hard freeze.

They can also be directly sown into the soil after all threat of frost is over :)

I WISH I could ALWAYS do free shipping on everything but it does get expensive, as I am SURE that you can agree. No sob stories just tough times right now :D Thanks for your willingness to bid and I wish you a successful & WINNING bid :)
Thx for your confidence in me as a seller :D
