Jason Robards was quite a gem. The move captures love and loss, and the angst of relationships that we all feel from time to time. Life doesn't have to be perfect, but it can be GOOD ENOUGH. Great lessons from this film. A boy and his elder sister are left by their mother to their grandparents. The boy's name? It's the name of the movie itself. Journey is a young boy struggling with the abandonment of his mother while trying to adjust to his new life with his grandparents. With the help of his grandfather, an amateur photographer, he searches through old family photo albums, trying to find a reason for why his mother left. In the process, he a slowly builds a relationship with his grandfather, which is the key to helping him come to terms with his unfortunate circumstances.
