Close the Saloons. This early 20th century poster was produced for the "Strengthen America" campaign during the struggle over Prohibition. This theme was popular with the many organizations working to ban the manufacture, importation and sale of liquor in the US. I have many other vintage World War I and World War II postcards listed. These are not from that era I don't think but only depictions of posters from that era They don't look that old although they may be. They are in excellent condition.
