This is a fabulous long jacket, well-loved & worn! still in Very Good+ Condition, size medium, from Burning Torch, which I purchased at Anthropologie, a few years back. BURNING TORCH, based in Los Angeles, a leading fashion brand founded in 1999 by designer Karyn Craven.
"The company's winged logo features a hand holding aloft a burning torch, symbolically championing the timeless ideals of transformation and freedom. Today as always, with colors drawn from nature and patterns unearthed from the archives of culture."
Now, I am having second thoughts,lol! No, I have definitely worn & enjoyed this probably never to be seen, again long jacket, really! The line has grown incredibly & is even more costly than, when I purchased this piece. no fabric content-(i do not believe there was)- Unlined, super soft, although very strong "Vintage" Fabric. It would fit a Small, or medium, a bit fitted-style, with longer-sleeves, which i luv-(they fall nicely & a bit loosely a bit over the edge of fingers)-The weave & designs on this fabric are just so Unique! The shirt-style Collar has a raw edge, as do the edges of the Flaps on each Pocket, at sides of this Jacket, about the hip.Flap over pockets, measure 8" Tall x 6" across. At the left small lapel are stitched on beads in 2 different designs, the middle beads are very glimmery! Red X's stitch together backs of cuffs, A flattering fit,it falls an inch or two, above the knee, depending on your build/height. 3-Button closures, First, the top button is center~middle of Bust, 2nd is about. 3" below, the 3rd Button IS MISSING:(it would be 3" below the 2nd). I have been looking for it, But I cannot promise it. I have tried it on w/o it, looks fine or you can probably find a close match!Just too much to say, you will be the Only one wearing this! thanks:) ha! If you don't live too far, drive over! U can raid what's left of my closets, Attic and basement! Not too stockpiled, as I sold a lot on e___, before I left them, yay! That was a hard decision. Thanks lots, Chelsea! The pictures really do not do This Very Unique Jacket, justice-(I was out w/my laptop) I prefer to list on my desktop. The vintage fabric is just one-of-a kind, feels cotton velvety smooth with great texture and patterns. It stands on it's own and can be worn with Anything you want, depending on whether you are a "small" or "medium" the fabric really dictates the fit:) the picture I took with the top of jAcket, under both collars~there is no, nor ever was a button there. But you could add a small snap or pin it, of you like the look in pics # 3 & 4. The jacket is Kind of more "fitted" at the bust and the back, then it has these cool sleeves that are Longer and fit not too loose, but cut more generous at the ends/cuffs. I will try to get a few?
